I read somewhere that you cannot run a digital TV card and a standard
analogue tuner card at the same time in MCE?

    Is this right?

No. I have an NVIDIA dual tuner card and an ATI HDTV Wonder card and I am
able to record from both at the same time -which is kind of cool IMHO :)

I haven't yet tried to record from both NVIDIA tuners and the HDTV tuner at
the same time, but I suspect at some point I'll run into bandwidth problems
    on my drives.

But to answer your question, you are actually required to have a "regular"
tuner card before you can enable HDTV in MCE. See

    Livnlo,

I'm running the Hauppauge 500MCE dual NTSC tuner card and an ATI HDTV Wonder
in paralell on my system. Most of the time that seems to work pretty well. I
do have intermittent problems with TV-stuttering (every few days), but my
best guess is that they're related to hard-disk fragmentation.
One area where my system is different from your's is that I'm running 1GB
ram. That helps. If I had to do it again, I would probably buy a faster video
    card.

  6. It sounds like you are overseas (outside the US). If so, then you are
correct. Digital and analog will not work overseas.
