Duplicate songs in Library - aarrgg!!!

  1. So At home I have a PC with all of the family music on it. I use WMP to keep
track of all of the songs, though my kid decided to let his iTunes manage
the music. It took a good portion of the songs and renamed the files and put
the Track numbers in front of the name. Then they tried to fix things and
reimported the songs back into the library.

So now a large portion of the songs are duplicated. Same name of the file
except one has the track number and the other does not. i.e.

    M:\Gomez\Liquid Skin\02 Revolutionary Kind.mp3
    M:\Gomez\Liquid Skin\Revolutionary Kind.mp3

So what is the best way to go and remove all the Duplicates? iTunes can
show me duplicates, but they are in over 500 folders and over 6200 songs...
It would take days to figure it out.

    Any Suggestions?

    Thanks!
