    Help.

    I am using a DELL XPS 400.
    Media DVD+RW from Sony.

I burned my first DVD+RW and that went fine -- then I went
and erased this disk -- that went fine -- then I go
and try to create another DVD -- using this DVD+RW
and MCD complains "Insert Media -- Please insert writeable media
this is compatible with your CD or DVD recorder, and
    then select Creat CD/DVD.

    UGH!

I ran into that also, but I guess it doesn't matter. I just kept on as if
nothing happened and selected the show to record and it recorded fine.

I am not able to get past the error message about inserting
a usable media -- the DVD+RW is not useable by MCE -- I can
use it in a Sony DVDirect -- I can even format it with Win XP -- but
erase via MCE leaves the DVD+RW usaealbe by MCE....

Any one else having this problem?

    Thanks.

    Sincerely,
    Kevin Waite
