eDNS is enabled on an SBS2003 SP2 box....BPA says to disable it

  1. Good morning!

    Yes, here I am again.

    For that same customer (see post below this regarding Smart Host) I ran the
    SBS2003 BPA and there were several critical errors. I can handle all of
    them but the last one was regarding EDNS. I have never heard of that

    Sure, a quick Google of "edns" results in lots of good articles. But how
    does EDNS apply to SBS2003? And, should I really disable it?

    If you click on the message regarding the edns it should have the command
    line to disable it mentioned there.

    Got that already. Pretty familiar with dnscmd. I looked a bit more into
    what eDNS is and I am going to simply disable it.
