The one you're mentioning is just a summary code which essentially
    means it quit.

Here's the code that I think could be useful
Let's try a search about it.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906602/

    (Live Search for
    0x8024200B microsoft codes
    )

Hmm... that's not too useful either. Apparently it's just another generic code

Do a find for the code in there and see the suggestion to look at

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903776/

Apparently there could be an associated decimal code which would be useful
but there is no sign of it in your WindowsUpdate.log snippet.

The only good idea this other article is giving me is to try looking for
other files besides the WindowsUpdate.log file which would have been
written at the same time. It actually specified the name of a file that you
could try looking for explicitly but I prefer to be more general than that
in case there are other clues in other files. E.g. use Search Companion
to find all files which changed on the day of the update; use View Details,
then sort the results list by date changed. The result should be a set of
files which you can scroll to the minutes that the update was running.
E.g. use the timestamp of the record we are looking at as a target time
that your time changed range should include.

    Good luck
