Error 0x8024400A on client

    I installed the IIS hotfix in KB898708, but I still have 1 workstation that
    can not report in. It is able to ping the WSUS server OK, but when I run
    Microsoft Update manually to force it to check in, it fails with error
    0x8024400A. It looks like there used to be a KB article 905422 which
    addressed this problem, but it has been removed from the Microsoft support
    site. Any ideas how to get this client to report in? Thanks!

    Never mind. I hacked the registry as instructed in another post, rebooted,
    and a duplicate copy of the computer showed up OK in the WSUS Console. Still
    curious what happenned to the KB article 905422 to see how MS would have
    handled it.
