I am having a problem with the server 2003 issue whereby one of the user's
account always get locked automatically everytime she locked her pc to go to
toilet or lunch. I found out there is an 1504 event id from the error log. I
tried to let her to use different pc or laptop and let her sign in and work
from different workstation and it does not have any issue logging back in.
However, once she is trying to log into the network by using that particular
machine, the account get locked automatically and I have to go to AD to
unlock her account. Anyone knows how to solve this issue? Any advise?
    Thank you.

I had a similar issue twoo weeks ago with the ISA server's account ,I
resseted the account and rejoined the ISA server to the domain and
    everything went fine.

    Best regards

    Hi Adamu,

Thanks for your reply. I tried to delete her local profile from her PC and
reload the roaming profile but it is still the same. Do you think by
rebuilding the roaming profile will solve this issue?

    Hi Nightlegend,

Thank you for your reply. I did not perform rejoin domain for her but I
deleted her local profile folder from her PC and try to load her profile
again by asking her to sign in again. However, when she tried to sign in, her
account is locked again. I am thinking I would like to rebuild her roaming
profile and delete the stored user password from her PC. I am not sure
    whether this will works.

  5. Hello Jannarko,

Maybe she has a scheduled task running on the particular machine, where she
    forget to change the password.

    Best regards

Did you try to reset the account in the active directory?

    Hi Weber,

I did check on the scheduled background task and I found nothing. I will try
to reset the user's local profile as well as from the server side first and
see whether it will solve the issue or not. Thanks for your advise Weber.

After I rebuild the user's roaming profile, it was solved for few days.
After one week, the issue come back and the user account get locked
automatically again. Anyone has experiencing this problem before?
    Thank you.
