Error # C00D11C8

    WM 9 keeps giving me the following error message: Windows
    Media Player cannot play the file because the required
    video codec is not installed on your computer. Error #
    C00D11C8 How do I fix this?

    I still have not seen anyone with an answer here. Loading the afreecodec, etc..did not fix the problem with MS Media Player

  6. No one has any idea what in the world you are trying to play. A codec can
    not be suggest in this case.

    I'm personally trying to open a .asx recorded webinar (which is meant to be played on Media Player) and getting this message, although I've had other files in the past with the same problem that probably weren't .asx.
