I ran the Forest Prep and Domain Prep on the Domain Controller.
Then I run the setup program to upgrade the Domain Controller to Server 2003
and all goes well until it has to reboot.
When it tries to load back into the setup program after reboot it says

    ------------------------------
The file netburn.sys could not be found

    Press any key to continue
    ----------------------------

So I press anykey and then a message below says Setup Failed. Press any key
    to restart computer.

No matter how many times I restart the same message appears.
I can successfully choose the Windows Server 2000 start up option so the
server can continue to run in 2000.

Any search on Google or Microsoft for this file or any details brings back
    nothing.

Any ideas or insight would be appreciated.

I am dealing with this problem right now. I believe that the issue is with the Netburn.sys driver which I believe is part of Paragon Drive Backup software. I think when the OS tries to do an update it doesn't know how to process this correctly. I am rebuilding my PC from a backup image I made before I attempted the backup. Once it is completed I am going to remove the Paragon backup software and try to do the upgrade again. Wish me luck :)
