I have no problem when I post to the msnews groups but when I attempt to
post to my charter.net groups I get this error:

Windows Mail could not post your message. Account: 'nntp.charter.net',
Server: 'nntp.charter.net', Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '441 Posting
Failed (Rejected by POST filter)', Port: 119, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
    441, Error Number: 0x800CCCA9

    Any idea what this is?
    Thanks,
    Bob

  2. Check to see if the post is MIME or UUENCODED under Tools | Options | Send |
News . Select UUENCODE for the option and see if that makes a difference.

bellsouth.net seems to have done this to prevent mime messages.

    Steve,
    You've done it again!!!
mime was checked so I selected UUENCODE and it works perfectly.
    Thanks again!

  4. Thanks, Bob, that's good to know.

I guess they have an anti-HTML campaign.
