Good evening, I am receiving the message below. Nevertheless, I am backing up
this domain controller with Veritas 10D that includes a full backup and
system state every night. any ideas?

"By default the 'Backup latency interval' is set to half the 'Tombstone
Lifetime Interval'. If you want to change the default 'Backup latency
interval', you could do so by adding the following registry key.

'Backup latency interval' (days) registry key:
    System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Parameters\Backup Latency Threshold
    (days) "

  2. Umm, talk to Veritas?

This is actually a very serious warning that tells us your backups are not
backing up Active Directory, which makes them difficult to trust. Did you
run the Backup Wizard in SBS? You have to run it even if you choose to use a
different program to backup the server.

Have you attempted to rebuild this server from your current backups yet? I
think that your BackupExec is misconfigured.

Thanks for the rely Leonid I appreciate it. I will contact Veritas,
    nevertheless,
This is not Small Business Server it''s just Windows 2003 server standard in
Mixe mode. Good point, I will research this backup issue with Veritas.
