I have a Windows 2003 R2 server running SQL Server 2000. This appears\nin the event log every 15 minutes:\n\nEventID: 7023\nThe Network Connections service terminated with the following error:\nInvalid access to memory location.\n\nSometimes it's:\n\nEventID: 7023\nThe Cryptographic Services service terminated with the following\nerror: Invalid access to memory location.\n\nThe other odd thing is I can't get to Windows Update with this\nmachine. I can get to other websites but WU takes foverer to load,\nthen asks me if I want to update the softare. I say yes and it just\nsits there. In an article somewhere it suggested registering a list\nof DLL's related to Windows Update. All of them registered except\nthis:\n\n"Loadlibrary("wuaueng.dll") failed - Invalid access to memory\nlocation."\n\nI can find no reference to this "invalid access to memory location"\nerror anywhere, on any topic. Not from Google, MS, Usenet... I've\ntried everything. I've seen hundreds of following errors for event id\n7023 and this one is never mentioned.\n\nAny ideas?\nThanks!
