Hi, I got a request to extract user login/off info and went to the the export
of the log and the text file is 118 MB! I checked the properties of the
security log and it's set to 16384KB max size, but above that the size is
listed at 128MB. I checked the other logs (app-16MB on disk and set,
directory service 512KB on disk and set, dns server 9MB on disk and 512KB
set, file replication 64KB on disk and 512KB set, system 16MB on disk and
16384KB set), and the DNS server is also larger that what it is set to. Has
anyone seen this and found a reason for why the log file is larger that what
is it set to? Also, the overwrite events as needed is checked.
