  5. Then it's probably a malware infection. Help with malware:
    All MS-MVP Sites.

Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by deceptive software.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing Messenger Plus, whose ads for
malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince you that you
owe it to the author. See also:
Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure

    susie 3,

Please don't append your comments on a previous poster's blank line.
Insert your own lines. Otherwise your comments will be lost to newsreaders
who depend on those > marks to indicate who is writing. Also, with the
web interface that you are using such misplaced comments become
completely subsumed by the "Click to show or hide original message or reply text"
link. For example, see your reply to Frank in this full thread view: ; )

    First, it isn't "cut and paste" you want to try but "copy and paste". ; }
But I agree the usability of that Error Reporting tool dialog,
especially regarding information capture, leaves a lot to be desired.

One thing you can capture is the Error Signature.
E.g. click on the [click here] link in the first window.
Then doubleclick on a word in the text of the Error Signature.
Then press Ctrl-a and Ctrl-c to select the full text
and copy it to ClipBoard. From there you can paste
it anywhere you want in a normal manner. Unfortunately
there is no right-click menu associated with the text
which probably makes many people think that the text
    can't be captured.
