    Hi,

is it possible to setup exchange 2003 with a front end server in forest A
and the bak end server in forest B, both residing in member servers?
could you please point me to any relevant docs for the matter?

    thank you in advance.

  3. Hi Leo,

    Thanks for your posting here.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to deploy FE/BE in different forest. FE/BE
is only supported in same organization, same forest.

For more information about FE/BE technique, refer to the following article:

Using Exchange 2000 Server and Exchange Server 2003 Front-End Servers

Hope this helps! Have a nice day!

    Thanks & Regards

As the others have posted, this isn't really on.

Perhaps you could explain why you think you need to do this, and we can
maybe then suggest an alternate way of meeting your goals?
