Export User Class csvde

Discussion in 'Active Directory' started by Frederik De Muyter, Feb 24, 2006.

  1. Hi i would like to get a list of all user attributes defined in the AD
    schema. When i open op the AD schema i get a list of all attributes defined
    in the User Class

    I run the following comand
    csvde -f users.csv -d "OU=Users,OU=Accounts,OU=_Central,OU=Administrations,D
    C=domain,DC=intra" -r "(&(objectClass=User)(objectClass=Person)"
    When i run this i get a list of attributes but it are not all attributes i
    see in the Active directory schema snap-in. I think it has to do with class
    inheriting attributes from other classes and son on. What -r filter can i
    use to retrieve all attributes?
    Any help on this topic would be nice.

  2. You need to specify what attributes to pull.

    If you use ADFIND and don't specify any attributes, it will pull all
    populated attributes for the object. So, you could run:

    adfind -default -f "(&(objectClass=user)(objectCategory=person))" -csv >
    c:\filename.csv

    Download ADFIND from www.joeware.net
