Failed updates on a win 2000 svr, sp4

    Dear all,

    thanks to lurking on this list and learning from y'all's wisdom, by
    looking into the windows update history,

    I've found that I have 2 updates that were not done on my windows 2000
    server.. We've kept this machine on automatic updates, and didn't know
    there was a possiblity that an automatic update can fail without saying
    anything about it..

    One of these is recent, however the other one is quite some time ago,
    leading up to my question, will it upset a later update?

    I've now downloaded these 2 files, but one of these is quite some time
    outstanding.. On an otherwise fully patched Windows 2000 server at
    service pack 4, will installing these 2 missed updates upset anything?
    This is only a fileserver, but an important one for the workgroup.
