Failure Directory Service Access Audit

    I'm not too sure how to decifer the properties of this failure audit.

    Object Server: DS
    Operation Type: Object Access
    Object Type: user
    Object Name: CN=username,OU=ouname,DC=domainname,DC=com

    Primary Domain: domain
    Primary Logon ID:

    Sounds a failed atempt to access to AD.

    Ok, I should have included this in my first post but the user listed on the
    event is different than the user described in the details of the object
    event. ie. This may not make a difference but maybe then it was a user who
    tried to log in with another users account information?
