I've been trying to figure out why I can no longer access sites that require a password (though it was working fine a couple of months ago, before we got an apparent virus and was told to install SpyBot); I get "page cannot be displayed". This includes our financial sites which is a huge inconvenience. Now I discover that I can't run any Windows Updates; we get error 0x800C0005. Can anyone help? Our internet provider, Gateway and Microsoft have all failed to correct the problem. There has to be some logical solution, right???

Another thing you can try is (Win XP):

Did you use the immunize function on spybot - this blocked my router menu page from displaying properly and a few other things...Spy bot backs up what it changes you can undo it.. undo everything and try again..i uninstalled afterwards and use ad aware 6 no problems so far..
