Feedback: Give me back my favorites!

Discussion in 'Internet Explorer' started by Martin Lapierre, May 8, 2006.

  1. Using the new favorite window is such a pain when you're used to the old
way. There's nothing less intuitive in a UI upgrade than changing the way
user read data on the screen. I can only hope that the final product will
have the good-old drop-down menu for the favorites!

If you're used to using keyboard shortcuts, press CTRL+I that will open your
    favorites dropdown list.

Did you know that you can press the ALT key in IE7 which will give the
classic menu back and then go to favorites like you usually would?

I did. And if you want the Classic Menu to show all the time, right click
on toolbar and select Classic Menu.

I think it's awesome! You can scroll through them much quicker. Having to
wait for the old scroll was a pain. Especialy when you have hundreds of favs.
