Hello... I've been using the "Find Album Info" feature to complete the ID3
tags of all my MP3 files so that I have the Album, Track, Genre, and Year
    info in the tags.

I have some mix CDs I made from MusicMatch WMA's that I purchased but thanks
to a hard drive crash a couple months ago, lost the original WMAs. I tried
to rip those CDs to MP3 and when I try to use the "Find Album Info" feature
to complete the tags, it doesn't show the usual list of albums that I can
select and automatically update the tags. Instead it shows a "Search for
album information" function and gives me a list of "Search by artist name,"
"Search by album name," and "Type the information for a personally created
(burned) CD." This second function won't search automatically with the Track
Title and Artist info but the original function will still work normally on
any MP3s that I didn't just rip using WMP.

  2. That's the way the feature works. It also overwrites album-art, even if
there isn't any in the database.
