I am running Small Business Server 2003.

When I recieve an email with an attachment with a ".exe" file extension, it
is automatically removed, which is great for security.

When I recieve an email with a ".exe" file extension and I want it where do
    I go to get it?

Exchange strips them at the lowest level so I don't believe you can get to
them. Only choice here is to have EXE's sent as ZIP files or have users
    rename them .EX before sending.

As it turns out for the small business server (SBS) you setup the folder
where you want removed attachments to be stored. FYI- The default is to not
    save removed attachments.

On a small business server, to specify the folder where removed attachments
    are to be stored:

    1. Open Server Management
    2. Select Internet and Email
    3. Select Connect To Internet
    4. Select "NEXT" over and over until you get to the "Remove E-mail
    Attachments" dialog
    5. Check the box that says "Save removed e-mail attachments in a folder" and
specify the folder where attachments are to be stored.
