I am trying to figure out how(if possible) that I can forward dns queries for
one Domain(parent.company.intra) to another DNS server thats not apart of my
domain(mycompany.com). All normal traffic will stil go to my dns servers and
then forwarded out to my ISP dns. But I have a connection to my parent
companies network which is a completely seperate tree that I am not a part of
that I want to send DNS queries to it for Intranet Website access.

My servers are 2000. the one I want to point to for a specific domain is
2003. If theres no other way then the I guess thats a reason to finally
    upgrade it the AD tree.

  4. Hi,
if the two domains belong to 1 company, you might get the allowance to have
your "parent" domain hosted as a secondary zone on your servers.
it then needs just a surrounding beeing synchronized appropriate.
    regards jk
