Why does this program not work on some sites with ie7 and yet will work on
that same site with a different browser? Can't be fault of the foxit or it
wouldn't work with any browser. It is an excellent pdf program, much better
    than Acrobat.

Foxit reader seems to work fine with IE7 both in XP and in Vista. On some
sites I need to allow pop ups.

  3. Can you give an example of a site where it does not work?

Depending on the implementation that may be an erroneous conclusion.
E.g. AR is implemented in two entirely different ways, as an ActiveX
extension for IE and as a Netscape plug-in for other browsers. Hence,
you are not just comparing the behaviour of the browsers but the different
extensions too; so a fault apparent in either combination *might* be a fault
in the extension used, not a fault in the browser. Also, even if it is
distributed as one module, it could still be the case that the different
functionality required by each browser type would be implemented in it
by completely independent paths in its code. Again, then, there could
be a failure in the module which would only appear in one browser but
    not another. Etc.

BTW I agree with the tack that Frank is trying to get you to take.
Diagnose a particular symptom and you will at least gain a clearer
understanding of what is happening with it. In the long run that
could be more useful to you for dealing with other problem cases
than making assumptions about which software combinations work
    and which ones don't work.

  5. I don't know why it won't work for you. That site opens with Foxit here.
Since it opens OK in other browsers I assume you have the latest version of
    Foxit. I have build 2.0 Build 0930.
