freeze frame in windows media and print or save as jpeg

  1. can you stop a video and then save the image as a jpeg? I am really in trouble...took pictures in video mode and need still pics.

  2. Yes but there are sometimes complications. Try using the Alt+PrtScrn
    buttons when you pause the video, this should paste the image into the
    clipboard. You then start your favourite image editor (photoshop,
    corel, windows paint) and paste the image in. Pick save as jpeg and
    the job's done.

    However most modern graphics cards use 'video overlay' which means
    that if you get a black image, you'll have to go to your video card's
    acceleration settings and disable this first.

    Disabling video overlay acceleration will usually allow you to copy +
    paste as above with no problems (although it's not always necessary)
