    Hello,

I have re-build my PC some days ago.
I have installed the newest German version of WLMail (2009 / Build
    14.0.8050.1202).

As it seemed to work well (in opposition to the version 2008 installed in
June 2008) I had decided that I will not have in parallel OE and WLMail.

As I tried to set the spelling to French (I am a French guy living in
Germany, such situation may happen, yes) I discovered that there is no French
    dictionary.
I have only: 4 different versions of German and 4 different versions of
    English and NO FRENCH.
The version 2008 had French !!!!!

    Where can I find a French spell-check ?????

    How to implement it ?????

Thanks in advance for your help,

That is a problem with the web access to the newsgroups. People who use a
newsreader have not encountered that problem. If you are using Windows Live
Mail, you can configure news accounts in that application. Just select
"News" when setting up a new account. For the Microsoft help groups,
configure the server name as, 'msnews.microsoft.com'. You should set up your
email address as, '' in the field for
an email address. No user name, or password is required for access to this
server. When you have finished setting up the account, you will be offered a
list of groups, and you can scan the list for groups you wish to
"subscribe". The term is used loosely, and refers to choosing a group to
    download messages from.

Thanks to you, Norman, for this information,

I did not expect (and hope so) to need to write much posts concerning WLMail
    2009.

But as I could not sign in after several attempts I had to open a news
    account.

My main concern is still to find a French spell-check !!!!!

You can use the one in mine... I'm not using it.
Tools - Options - Spelling - French (France)

  6. Make sure that your Internet connection is active Before you start WLM.
If not, close WLM and open it again. Then see if French is available
    for download.
