I have my HP 1910 installed with Activesync 3.5. I upgraded to Ipaq h2200
with Active sync 3.7.1 software. Will it be necessary for me to reinstall
the new soft ware. Advantages? Disadvantages? Any hints ... do or don'ts.
What about the data transfer from contacts, etc?

I would be very appreciative for any help or directions here.

    Hi Jerry,

If you are referring to the software on your older PPC, then yes you will
need to reinstall it but before that ensure that it is compatible with the
Windows Mobile 2003 operating system and the processor type (check with the
vendor if they have a newer version compatible with the new OS). The
easiest way to transfer all your Contacts and other PIM information would be
to first synchronize your iPAQ 1910 with Outlook on the desktop and then
synchronize the data with iPAQ 2200. If you are synchronizing files, then
copy the files in the My Documents synchronization folder of the older iPAQ
to the synchronization folder of the new iPAQ.
