    Hello Everyone,

    I have a Windows 2003 server with Remote Desktop enabled. When I open a
    command prompt and try to run ftp, ping, ipconfig it fails with an
    unrecognizable file or batch error. I can though, nav to the files themselves
    and double click on them to work. Can someone explain to me what might be the
    problem? I have checked all the envio setting and they look solid.

    Check your "Path" environment variable. Ensure that C:\Windows\System32
    is listed in that variable. The easiest way to check that is to open a
    command prompt and type set. If it is not there, add it. You can right
    click "My Computer" and click properties. Click Advances, click
    Environment Variables. In the System Variables list box, choose Path
    and click Edit. At the end of the line add ;C:\windows\system32 the ;
    is very important because this separates values.
