Games won't play fullscreen. Stuck in center. won't expand. HELP!

  1. Here's the gist of it. I've played two games within the last couple of days.
Normally, my games play fullscreen to the edges of the monitor with no
problems. I started a couple of games yesterday and now they will only play
in a small part of the screen - it's basically like the option to make your
wallpaper centered on Windows XP. In fact, it's exactly like it, but without
the option. How can I fix it to where all my games run full screen the way
they should. I run Windows Vista Ultimate with 2GB of RAM. HELP!

I don't know if you ever fixed this but if you go to the window
features (control panel => programs and features) and turn off table P
options then it should fix it

Hi, I was having the same problem as well, and after searching all kind
of forums without finding the answer, I stumbled across the reason..
Changing the screen resolutions and all that didn't work, but when
right clicked on my desktop I found that there was another place t
customize the display other than the one you get to from the contro
panel. Mine was labeled "Graphic Options". When I paused the mouse ove
that word, a pop-up menu gave me a list of new options, one of which wa
called "Panel Fit", which in turn opened up another menu that gave th
option to choose "Full Screen (No Border)..
Clicked it, and viola! It worked. my games work full screen again, an
I can still keep the resolution that I like. So there's probably nothin
wrong with your comp, just some little hidden setting to find. This i
the only computer I have that has Vista so I don't know if they all hav
those options when right clicking on the deslktop, but if you do, tha
    will do the trick.....Happy Gaming ;
