Hi I'm running 2008 server (32bit) I'm getting access denied when trying to
connect (using NLB Manager and wbemtest) between my servers using any other
account other than the administrators. I have set up the same account (not
in a AD) on each box as and added them to the administrators group but both
NLB manager and wbemtest fail unless I specifically use the administrtor
account. These are all clean machines I cannot find any additional
privalidges that the administrator account has - even trying wbemtest on the
local machine fails with access denied. Anybody got any ideas?

    cheers

I should add I have tried turning off the firewall on 2008 - BUT since
administrator account works fine (but its not a great choice to use for
security reasons) I'm assuming its some kind of privilage that I'm missing
out on when I create a new admin level account.
