How many times do I have to say this?

get www.avantbrowser.com shell for the IE rendering engine

This is the best combination ... and you get rid of the ie7 interface and
    all its problems

Avant is faster in loading, opening pages, the UI of the program is faster,
and it has so many features built in that firefox would need 3 times as much
ram in order to load the add-ons needed to match avants flexibility.

Avant needs half the time and cpu to load and half the ram to run,
it can handle far more tabs at the same time and under such huge loads it is
    far more stable.

Also you have the fact that you have to search and find the add-ons to match
    avant...
and then keep them updated.. and then some break with ff updates...

    Forget it!

trust me.. I have tested and compared the 2 very well...
and although I use both.. as my main browser I use avant...

AVANT RULES... whoever snobs it, does know what they are missing!

Why bother with either? As all of the browser gods knows that Maxthon is
the greatest one out there. Can use either the Gecko (FireFox) or the
Trilton (IE) rendering engines. Even switching between the two on the
    fly. ;)

    there is indeed a difference...
the "add-ins" are everything that works on IE, but you have to turn them on,
    on purpose..
    this saves you from malware...

but I can tell you that I have iespell, roboform, and a few others... that
    are ie compatible
and with all the avant functionality I dont need anything else...

mozilla has more plugins.. but when you load too many.. it slows the browser
    down...

Netscrape 8 has a 'feature' where in synchs cookies with IE.
I will be logged into a site with Netscrape & refresh and be under a
    different username.
Even with it 'turned off', it does it anyway.
Whoever wrote Netscrape 8 obviously quit AOL and went to work for MS to help
    with IE7.
