Having trouble sending or replying to e mail

    The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
    correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
    problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
    "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
    the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

    The rejected e-mail address was ''. Subject 'Re:
    e/mail', Account: 'mail.comporium.net', Server: 'smtp.comporium.net',
    Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 This domain is blacklisted, consult
    your postmaster', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number:
    This is what I get, the tech with my server did not know what was wrong

  2. It appears that comporium.net is blacklisted for spamming, but I can't
    figure out who is doing the blocking. A blacklist will typically last for
    24 hours, so you can just wait it out.
    If this happens frequently, I suggest you get an alternate SMTP server
    by getting a free account with Gmail.

    Thanks, I guess that explains why the tech at Comporium could not help me.
    He probably did not want to tell me it was a Comporium problem. I did ask
    him if it was Comporium that was blacklisted, he just told me to run a virus
    scan on my computer. I did, all is well according to my McAffee program. I
    will take your advice if I have to, thanks again.
