They will just ignore me or want to charge me 100 bucks per hour for a
support ticket. I known they read this group so don't try to fool me.

Again, this is a vounteer newsgroup set up to help Vista users, not a
bulletin board. Take your post elsewhere.

No, they don't. You are erroneously assuming Microsoft cares about it's
    paying customers. They don't.

Net nannies aren't too welcome here and the article is spot on for
anyone considering the purchase of Vista.

  7. Any Microsoft staff involvement in this group is on a voluntary basis.
No MSFT employee would be allowed to make any official statement in this
peer to peer support newsgroup about the comment made by a Royalty OEM exec.
    (and I should know)

  9. One company does not speak for the entire industry, no matter how important

    Mr. Happy Guest

I'd say he's pretty important as he heads the fourth largest PC maker in the
world. Certainly his opinion is more important than yours is. Larger ones
like Dell have also begun offering alternatives to Vista, like XP and
Ubuntu on their new products. That's saying a lot too. Why can't you just
accept the fact that Vista is a dud? Maybe you're embarrassed that you've
spent the money you have on this p.o.s.? And if you got it for free because
you're a most valuable player, then maybe you're just a Vista fanboy?

    Shake Hands With,
    Mr. Happy

PS. Please learn how to post on Usenet. Real newsgroup clients, strip out
everything below a sig line when replying. Your top posting greatly fscked
    up the thread.

Doesn't matter, so long as Bill read my message. Which I know he did.

I don't think Microsoft would like you responding to their customers
    in this manner.
