Since MS is cutting off Web parts i've imported an RSS feed to a WebPart that
my users enjoy (the weather). So i get the RSS imported and it works well
however I can't get this imported Webpart to be added to any of the WebPart
    galleries.

I have a few different web parts for the local weather in our different
offices - I'll set the largest offices weather on the shared site but the
personal views will need to be changed so I want to have the other RSS Web
Parts available to select from the gallery.

Any idea how to import into this list? Also any idea how to remove the old
MS WebParts that will no longer work?

    Thanks!

  2. Hi beholder,

    Thanks for posting here.

From the description, I understand the issue is that you can not get this
imported Webpart to be added to any of the WebPart galleries,If I am off
base, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Your issue is related to pure WSS issue about webpart, it is still not a
supported component in this newsgroup. And I suggest you to post to our
    sharepoint newsgroup.
