Help, cannot login to server, no login screen.

  1. I've a Windows 2003 server, with Exchange 2k3 server installed. As usual
the server locks itself after a period of inactivity. Usually I'd just
switch to the server (it's on a KVM), hit Ctrl-Alt-Del, and unlock it.

Yesterday I switched to the server, and it's showing the mouse, and the
desktop background, but it won't respond to a Ctrl-Alt-Del, or anything else
I've tried. The server is working fine (apart from not being able to log
onto the console), and I can connect to the machine using the remote desktop

Does anybody know how I can get the server to respond to a ctrl-alt-del? Or
would I just be better off waiting until I can get some downtime on the
server, and rebooting it via remote desktop?

    Many thanks,
