Help configuring Eicon Analog fax board

I recently installed a new Eicon Diva Analog 4-port server board onto our SBS
2003 server. It appears correctly in Device manager but MS Fax is not
recognizing it as a valid fax modem. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall
the fax server software entirely or is there perhaps a way that I can force a
    recognition of the new board.

    thanks in advance.

  2. Hi,

    Thank you for posting here.

First of all, please make sure that the new device has been signed by Windows Server 2003.

To check Windows Server 2003 HCL list, please go to:
    http://www.microsoft.com/hcl

Based on my research, it turns out that the device is not compatible with Windows Server 2003.
If you would, please change a compatible device for Windows Server 2003.

Then, please obtain the latest driver and software for the device and test the feature again.

I hope the above info helps and we look forward to your update.

Thank you for your reply. I've ordered two 2 port Brooktrout boards and will
install them later on tonight. Hopefully I'll be up and faxing by morning.
