HELP!!! I've completely locked up my other email account..........

Discussion in 'Windows Live Mail' started by penguindreams, May 8, 2008.

  1. and I don't know how to get back in!!! MSN has completely shut me down...I
don't know how I did this exactly, but I've tried several times to re-access
with no luck. When I've tried to reset my password, I get a message saying
that instructions will be sent to my email...but I can't access my email...so
I can't get the instructions...really bad catch 22 going on. My biggest
concern is that the email address that's locked down is my family's primary
email account and we get tons of information there throughout the day...I
have to get back in. I don't want to read pages of FAQs...I've tried that and
it was no help at all. I need a REAL PERSON to help me and talk me through
    this. Thanks. WM

What does your problem have to do with WLM?

How long has this problem been occurring?

  3. I have something very similar going on. I think it has to do with Windows
Live. Suddenly, two days ago, Windows Live stopped allowing me access to all
four of my e-mail accounts. They were two through q.com (an old Qwest e-mail
account suffix) and my fiancee's personal hotmail account. One of the 3 q
    accounts is our business account!

I had not installed any new programs, jerked around with IE settings or
anything like that. This problem came like a lightning bolt out of the sky
and, like an in-law, WILL NOT LEAVE!!!

I went through all the help B.S. online for Windows Live but to no avail.
When I try to log in, every time I do, it says that Windows Live is missing
account information. It asks that I log in to give them the information ...
but I can't log in! I tried to submit a webform for help but it wouldn't
    accept it.

The only way I could get hold of Customer Support was to create a new
hotmail account and use the new help support webform function to contact
them. Still, I got an automated response regurgitating what the help section
said. It gave me a reply address, but nothing to date.

This must be a Windows Live issue. As soon as I get back in, I am pulling
everything and going to my ISP's e-mail service. What a complete waste of
    time.

    Any suggestions???

See if this leads you to enough account information if you are able to enter
    such information in WLM:
