Lucky me inherited a 2000 Domain Controller that is on a
2.75GB HDD. The second HDD has 5 clients mapped to the 2
partitions "M"&"N" on this 2nd HDD. The problem is all
the clients have profiles with mappings to this second
HDD. I finally convinced the boss to purchase a new Dell
with SBS 2003 standard edition with plenty of space. How
do I transfer the clients "all XP pro" over to the new
server with the existing mapped drives and make the
transition as seamless as possible without getting the
end users confused? Any suggestions would be greatly
    appreiciated. Thank you in advance.

If you have the luxury of shutting your network down for a
while, this might not be difficult. The workstations look
for network shares by \\servername\sharename. So if you
give the new server the same name as the old one, and the
shared folders the same share names, the change will be
transparent to the workstations (as long as you disconnect
the old server completely before you connect the new one).

Otherwise, I guess you'd have to use logon scripts, and
I'm still trying myself to find out how those bloody
    things work.
