I'VE GOT A PROBLEM ABOUT WIN2K SOFTWARE RAID.

    I'VE USING SOFTWARE RAID-5 WITH 3 SCSI
    HARDDISK0 - 18GB
    HARDDISK1 - 9.1GB
    HARDDISK2 - 9.1GB

    MY SERVICE:
    ACTIVE DIRECTORY (DATA)
    SQL SERVER (DATA)
    EXCHANGE SERVER (PROGRAM AND DATA)
    WEB DATA (DATA)

ARE ALL STORED ON THE RAID-5 SYSTEM.

CURRENTLY, MY DISK MANAGAMENT SHOWS THAT THE HARDDISK2 IS OFFLINE AND THE
SIZE OF THE HARDDISK2 HAD BEEN CHANGED TO 4.5GB...

I'VE ALREADY TRY REBOOT THE SERVER AND GO INTO THE SCSI ADAPTER CONSULE TO
VERIFY THE HARDDISK2 AND FOUND THAT THE SIZE IS STILL 9.1GB AND THE VERIFY
    IS COMPLETED.

I'VE ALSO TRY TO RE-ACTIVATE MY HARDDISK2 AND FAIL WITH THE FOLLOWING
    MESSAGE:
    "LDM configuration disk write error"

THEN I CHECK MY "SYSTEM" EVENTLOG, IT HAD THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE:
"dmio: Harddisk2 write error at block 17914194: status 0xc0000185"
"dmio: Harddisk2 write error at block 17916237: status 0xc0000185"

I'VE CHECK THE MS KB AND DIDN'T FIND THE EXACTLY WAY TO SOLVE THE
ABOVE-MENTIONED PROBLEM BUT A SIMILAR CASE
Cannot Create Software Mirror If Disk Contains Bad Blocks -
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;325615

    MY QUESTION IS:
    1. SHOULD I FOLLOW THE MS KB AND PERFORM A LOW-LEVEL FORMAT THE HARDDISK2?!
    2. AFTER THE LOW-LEVEL FORMAT, WILL THE HARDDISK2 APPEAR AS A NEW HARDDISK
    IN WIN2K SERVER?!
    3. WILL THE NEW(AFTER LOW-LEVEL FORMAT) HARDDISK2 SHOW THE ORIGINALLY SIZE
IN WIN2K AND WILL AUTOMATICALLY RE-GENERATE WITH MY ORIGINAL RAID-5?!

    PLEASE HELP!
    THANKS A LOT,

    YOURS,

    SAMMY TANG

    ONE MORE UDPATES:
AFTER I'VE REMOVE ONE OF MY RAID DRIVE, THE SIZE OF HARDDISK2 SHOWS ON DISK
MANAGEMENT HAD CHANGE AGAIN (FROM 4.5GB TO 3.0GB)
I GUESS IT WILL BE 0 GB (SHOW ON DISK MANAGEMENT) WHEN I REMOVE ALL RAID-5
    SYSTEM
