HELP

    can anyone help i have a dell! laptop 1520 with vista as standard
    i have a talking prog i need to use on this machine but it will not work
    on vista
    it is to expensive to update to the new prog as recommended by the
    manufacturer
    i have tried to put my old xp on it but his machine has a sata drive and
    xp cannot find it i need a third party driver but cannot seem to find
    one please help

    first bob, try to find out what Brand/Model of Sata HD do you have install
    and get the driver for Windows XP from manufacturer website,
    second there is a program call NLite it will allow you to create a Copy of
    your XP CD and ADD the Sata driver to this copy and then burn it the CD and
    you can use this CD and it will recognize yout hard drive
    google for Nlite
    NLite it is free and you can get it from www,nliteos.com
    try it and good luck
    PS: before you install XP do an inventory of your Laptop Hardware from the
    system devices, sometimes not all the drivers for Vista are available for
    XP, make sure you do this before you change it
