Hide drives - why can't hide CD-ROM?

I created a Group Policy to lock down some terminal servers. I want to hide
    drives A: though D: plus Z:. I like to use Drive Z: for my CD-ROM drives. I
use a Hide Drives calculator and come up with a value of 33554447. It works
to hide A: through D:, but the CD-ROM Z: still appears in My Computer. What
did I do wrong? Is there another setting specific to hiding CD-ROMS or
    removable media?

    Thanks

    Hi,

That is indeed odd. I did get the same Number you did. However, how have you
done it? I have the instructions for modifying the system.adm on my website.
You have to copy the modified one to the Windows\INF folder on Ever DC and
machine running adminpak.msi and then open it up in all the GP's you want to
    apply it to.

I recommend adding a line to the one that you want as well as adding a string.
