I need to run the equivalent of IPCONFIG /REGISTERDNS on a remote m/c. Is it
possible to do this using WMI (or some other scripting technology)?

  2. You could use PsExec.exe, tip 4141 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com

Thanks. Unfortunately, it's blocked by our firewall/cache/proxy server. A
fellow team member has it already but he's not here, so I need another
    approach.

  4. Don't you have Dynamic DNS?

Have you tried using a WshRemote script? Handy if you have lots of machines.

One advantage of PsExec is that you can just type it in manually as if
you're at the remote machine. Handy if you only need it on a few machines.
