I put an email into Urge Support last night with specific direction to this
posting thread alerting them of the significant number of users with Vista
all experiencing the same problem. Hopefully this will get their attention
and a fix will be forthcoming. I have yet to receive a response but I will
stay on it and continue to update this board as progress is made.

Zachd - thank you for your attention and insightful ideas.

Sure thing. If they don't help you by next Wednesday, export out your
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software registries, ZIP
that up and send me a pointer to that ZIP at zachdms at hotmail dotty com.
I don't promise anything, but I'll take an additional look if they're
    stumped.

Zach, this still hasn't been resolved. It's infuriating. Clearly,
installation is freezing because Vista security isn't allowing the URGE
installer to create the icons on what it thinks is the desktop....a link that
is actually a junction. It must be trying to open it instead of just pasting
the link there. Frankly, if I could edit the install .exe program myself, I
could redirect it to the Public desktop that vista now uses. Clearly, the
URGE program was very quickly modified from the XP version for use on Vista.
What irks me most is that my WMA files won't play without authentication
first. DRM is such a bummer and URGE has driven me plain made. Have you
seen any status updates on your end?

    Thanks.
