What should be a very simple task is proving complicated.

"Easy" (sic) Transfer is telling me that this task is not supported from 64
    - 32bit machines.

My x86 and x64 machines are connected to the same network and I was trying
to do a direct transfer via network.

Is there some other way of doing it?

Or should I continue sticking pins into my Vista voodoo dol?

From IE> File> Import and export, export the Favorites to a bookmarks.htm
file. Import that into IE on the other computer.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks Don!

Maybe I malign Vista unfairly, but it would seem that by default Vista / IE
7 hides the menu bar, making this and other functionality invisible to unwary

I agree that the Menu Bar should be displayed by default. I believe this was
changed to be the default in the current IE7 download for XP SP2 and Windows
Server 2003. I don't know if it's the default for Vista.
