How to add "Send To" to IE7 Favorites drop down menu?

Any body know where in the Registry the IE7 context menu is located? I want
to create a "Send To" option in this context menu. It exists in the
"Organize Favorites" context menu, but not in the regular Favorites. I got
used to using it in IE6 to send new favorites to my USB drive for copying to
    another system.

    Thanks for any replies!

    Hi Zaqxsw,

You find the context menus under \Software\Microsoft\Internet
    Explorer\MenuExt

But the favorites context menu has nothing to do with this. You need to look
under HKCR\url to add a context menu for that file extension.

That you don't already have that extension for link file types suggests
there must be a Group Policy that has disabled it. Check with your network
admin first if this is your work computer.

    Regards.

    Thanks Rob,

Maybe too involved for me. Lots of HKCR\url types in the Registry. I do
have a right click context menu in my IE7 Favorites, just no "Send To". Do
    you?

    Thanks for the replies!

Hi, Yes I do! Thats why I thought this may be your work 'puter and that they
(the administrators) had disabled it (to stop employees sending company
secrets over the internet). FYI I have a site http://www.iecustomizer.com
that has lots of tweaks for IE. I intend to post up some shell context menu
tweaks (when I find the time, busy with IE7 at the moment) so you may like
to keep an eye there for updates.

    Regards.

  5. 'Send To' should be in the 'Menu Bar' (File, Edit, etc.) favs context menu;
it does not appear in the Favorites Center (Star) context menu. (If the
Menu Bar is not visible, click 'Tools' and click 'Menu Bar' to display it.
Or press 'Alt' to display it temporarily.)

Thanks for the link Rob. It is not a work configured system. I'll look at
the site and do some more studying. Thanks gain.

Thanks Code-Curious Mom. Yes, I see it on the Menu bar. I saw it in IE6 by
right clicking the Favorites menu and choosing "Send To". Just wondering if
    I can get that back.
