Using the ntbackup GUI in XP/2003 you can create an Advanced System Recovery floppy, which should help in rebuilding the system from scratch in case of a disaster. The procedure create files named asr.sif and asrpnp.sif , among others, in the directory %windir% epair, wiles are then copied to the floppy. However the creation of these files can only be done by the GUI Wizard, I didn't found any way to create these files by command line. Even playing around with two executables I found around (asr_fmt.exe and asr_ldm.exe) I'm not been able to automatize the creation of the ASR Floppy files. Any of you did? Thank you.
