One of our network printers runs very slowly from one workstation. We had
this problem before and it was solved buy deleting all network printers
listed on the workstation and then deleting the
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 folder. This worked but it caused
major problems re-installing the Adone print driver.

I'd prefer to try deleting all references to the troubled print in the \3
folder, registry, etc. Is there documentation on how to do this?

    Thanks

  2. have you tried opening up 'Printer & Faxes', then clicking on File > Server
Properties, click on the Drivers tab and deleting the drivers that way?

I removed the driver and printer, and then reinstalled the printer. It's as
slow as ever. In fact, eventhough it's the default printer when you go to
print a word document by file, print, there is no printer showing in the
upper drop down name field. Something is corrupted somewhere, maybe in the
    \3 folder.

    Would you agree?
