How to display chinese song titles (chinese characters ) in Windows Media Player 9?

    Hi,

    How do I display chinese song titles (chinese characters ) in Windows
    Media Player 9?

  2. Irrespective of WMP, to support Chinese character display, you have to
    turn on East Asian language support in Control Panel > Regional
    Settings. Look up (for example) "Chinese " in Windows Help.

    You'll probably need your Windows CD on hand for the extra files required.

    Hi,

    I have turned on that option and some of my chinese song titles do get
    displayed correctly.
    However, some turned out as garbage characters... Any idea why ?

  4. Some may have been encoded wrongly by non-Unicode software or they might
    represent ideographs that are not handled by the current Unicode glyph
    range.

    If you do know the tiles and can enter the correct names using the
    system IME then they should hold.
