??? How to Force Live Messenger 8.1 to use the Proxy ???

    The default way uses tcp first - which craps out due to the administrators
    network settings. Solution is to use a proxy - except because the connection
    craps out, it never tries the proxy. In 7.5 you could force the use of the
    proxy and turn off the use of tcp.

    How do you either force the use of the proxy in 8.1, or disable the use of
    the direct tcp thus allowing the proxy its turn to try to work?
