    Hi.

Is there how to get the file system type of each logical partition in
    extended by referring partition table?
I read the MBR by raw sector reading and got the file system type of basic
    partitions.
However, the file system type of extended partition is just 0x05 and no more
    info.

If you’ve got a good idea, please advise me.

Windows ignores these FS types, it only requires them to be "one of the valid
values", or otherwise no drive letter will be assigned.

The real decision on what FS to mount is done using trying all of the loaded
    FSDs.

0x05 means - partition table is continued to the sector specified in the offset
in the entry. It is a reference to PT continuation, not to a partition.
